Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. Over 1 million cases are diagnosed each year, and one in five Americans will develop the disease over the course of their lifetime. Prolonged periods of exposure to the sun further amplify the risk.
When detected early, most kinds of skin cancer are relatively easy to treat. That’s why it’s important to keep track of any changes in the appearance of your skin: lesions, discolorations, ulcers, and alterations of the shape or color of your moles. Dr. Goulko has extensive experience evaluating and treating skin cancer, and she can also offer comprehensive advice about how to prevent it.
